Delivering Sirius Star / Santa Barbara to San Francisco

Lovely Morro Rock is the backdrop to Morro Bay, where it sits massively, eternally blocking the sunset. A total eclipse is depicted here, when the yacht club and sun are aligned.

Due to reciprocal club privileges, we obtained berthing at the exclusive Morro Bay Yacht Club, where we enjoyed the Independence Day fireworks from the water while waiting for mechanical repairs.

Mr. Lott, owner of Sirius Star, enjoys a stogie. We thought he resembled the Dos Equis Man, the most interesting man in the world.

The view from my front porch. We hang our garbage, or put it on the roof away from the dogs. I am earning my PADI Divemaster cert at Subway Diving, living in the barrio and trekking through the jungle island to the resort on the leeward side of the island, and studying diving all day.
