Delivering Sirius Star / Santa Barbara to San Francisco

Lovely Morro Rock is the backdrop to Morro Bay, where it sits massively, eternally blocking the sunset. A total eclipse is depicted here, when the yacht club and sun are aligned.

Due to reciprocal club privileges, we obtained berthing at the exclusive Morro Bay Yacht Club, where we enjoyed the Independence Day fireworks from the water while waiting for mechanical repairs.

.

Mr. Lott, owner of Sirius Star, enjoys a stogie. We thought he resembled the Dos Equis Man, the most interesting man in the world.

Sailing WindSong / SF Bay Pics

SF Bay Bridge from deck of Windsong, Erickson 27 while sailing at sundown. Notice Alcatraz off in the distance.

Ballpark lights, a wave of fog overhead. And the sun is a fireball halo.

A ship obscures the San Francisco City skyline, you can just make out A&T Park lights glittering.

Mark takes the helm, his hat is a classic Alameda Channel style.

Stars wars walkers eat huge candy-bars directly from the loading docks of NYK spaceship trader line.

Sailing on WindSong with Gabriel the Captain

A sailor should always look up at the sails.
